Sexual Misconduct: “Sexual misconduct is a type of violence that uses power, control, and/or intimidation to harm another. It includes sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. It occurs when there is an absence of consent. “A number of local and national cases around sexual misconduct in the workplace have surfaced in recent months. While the law varies from state to state, do you know what Alaska law says about sexual misconduct? Do you know how to identify sexual harassment in the workplace, what to do – and what not to do – if you believe you’re being victimized? For this discussion, we’ve called on legal eagles and HR experts alike to tackle these questions and much more. NOTE: This event may include content that is sensitive to some women and men. This conversation will not be based upon opinions or personal judgement calls. This conversation will be based upon facts in accordance with Alaska law.
